DIY Repurposed Starbucks Frappuccino Bottles

Recently I bought one of those 12 pack Starbucks frappuccino drinks and after I finished I was left with quite a few of the glass bottles hanging around. Their nice and sturdy so it seemed like a waste to throw it away. So I decided to make some interior decor with it, inspired by mason jar lights!;) Here's how I made it.

|| YOU'LL NEED ||

- Frappuccino Bottles

- Masking Tape

- Glitter

- Clear Nail Polish or Clear Glue

- Small Brush

- Wide Ribbon

- Christmas lights (preferably white)

- Spray Paint OPTIONAL (if lights aren't the color desired)

STEP 1:

If the color of the Christmas lights aren't what you want than you can spray paint it a different color, first cover the light heads with masking tape and spray paint it to the color of your choosing. I choose a metallic silver so that the light will reflect. Wait at least an hour to dry, it doesn't have to be perfectly covered

STEP 2:

Coat the bottom 1/4 with clear nail polish or clear glue and spread with a brush. Pour some glitter into the bottle and shake it around till the sticky areas are all covered.

STEP 3:

Tie a bow around a few of the neck of the bottle to add some more details.

STEP 4:

String the lights 10 cm from each other and push the lights in one by one.

Voila Enjoy your new tumblr-esque lights!
